Arrived in excellent condition and seemt o be working well. Our bedroom is quite large so we have both in the same room.Had them in place for 3 days and so far we have not had ay condensation where the windows would normally have been covered.

A fantastic gift for 'a man who has everything'! It came complete with a jar of Marmite which I did not expect. As time was tight I contacted the suppliers to request a delivery asap and package arrived within 2 working days. Excellent service all round.

This is a great iron and worth paying alittle more. It heats up quickly and glides through the ironing. The cord is 3m long which is useful when ironing big sheets. The steam switch is a bit awkward and could be better designed. However this shouldn't stop you buying it.

Out of the box the Iron looks impressive and it has a solid feel. It's a good size and is heavier as a result - but no heavier than others of that size. If weight is an issue for you, choose a smaller iron.

The steam functions are superior to any other iron I've had before and works very smoothly. The ergonomics of the handle, sole plate and stand are well engineered and the balance is first rate. The controls are clear and simple but the temperature dial is not as firm to rotate as it could be. This results in the dial moving at the slightest touch and being adjusted upwards inadvertently when simply picking up the iron for use. Once you are aware of that it ceases to be a problem.

Pros: Price, Ergonomics, Power and style.

Cons: Maybe heavy for some, temp dial could be 'stiffer' or have notched settings.

Definitely a good buy.

I have used a fair few irons from Philips, Bosch and Tefal. I have usually stuck with either Philips or Tefal.
This Tefal has many good points, it heats up very quickly and the steam trigger is very handy, although they do have this on my older philips. This one has more raw power as the heat is slghtly stronger and accompany that with the extra steam jets it seems to be good at handling creases.
I like the fact that they have a nice big opening for filling water, unlike some that require you to use the pourer that are provided, by the way this does not have a seperate pourer, I guess due to the larger opening, you could just use the tap.

One draw back is that when filled with water it is slightly bulkier, me and the wife have no isssue with this as it means it just glides with the extra weight, but I guess if someone had arthritis then it could be a problem.

Like the old irons of the past, the extra weight is there to make sure the clothes are pressed firmly and this works in that same way. It looks nice, but it is an iron. It seems to be a good build quality and hopefully should last a good many years.
I can't comment on the anti-double scale, but with all the irons I have had all of them develop limescale, especially as in my area we have very hard water. So, no matter what the iron claims, it never works for us. I have now reverted to using distilled water, which since using eliminates the limescale problem altogether.

Overall, a good iron. Handles creases well and the extra steam jet system works well. It is expensive, but you get what you pay for.

Produce seems O.K., will know more when winter arrives, as we then have a lot of condensation. Very easy to operate, had to change plug to U.K. standard, but so far all is well.

I had previously written a review but felt compelled to comment further on the outstanding quality and performance of this product, it is stylish, functional and very effective. My good wife and I never realised how much water was present in our cosy warm home, the benefits are very apparent and we now can see the improvement as the water volume collected each day is less. As an engineer I can appreciate the thought that has gone into the execution of this fine product. The price paid represents good value and I am most pleased with my choice. Top marks to Trotec

Got this cleaner after reading the reviews, we have a Cocker Spaniel which sheds his hair all over the house, this machine picks up the hair from all the little nooks + crannies as well as a really good job on the rugs + stair carpets. Good value for money and much better performance than our old Dyson.
